The quiet and peacefulness of the rural village of João Alvo invite you to slow down and follow the calm rhythm of nature. The daily walks surrounded by the breathtaking nature of Peneda Mountain induce stillness. It awakens your feelings towards the surrounding landscape while allowing you to quiet the mind and body.
The daily yoga sessions help you feel stronger and healthy, rejuvenating the mind and body, and making you feel recharged after every class. The meditative walks and the meditation amongst nature invite you to connect with yourselves and with the rhythm of nature, creating space for improving your concentration and focus on what really matters. The yoga and nature retreat can be adjusted depending on current climatic conditions. During your stay, you will have two yoga sessions per day. The first yoga class will be a Hatha session, based on alignment to bring the group together.
After, during the rest of the retreat, the morning classes will be a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa flow. The afternoon session will be more introspective and relaxing, focusing on stretching, alleviating tendons, and preparing the body and mind for a tranquil night. The yoga and nature retreat is developed for every level. Modifications and adjustments will be made according to the practice of everyone.

Daily Schedule
Day 1 (Saturday)
Arrival and airport transfer to Castro Laboreiro. Settle in and enjoy a welcome dinner at Ecotura Nature Resort.
Days 2–7 (Sunday–Friday)
Each day follows a nourishing rhythm that blends yoga, nature, exploration, and relaxation in the heart of northern Portugal.
- Morning coffee/tea followed by daily yoga (including restorative and face yoga sessions)
- Guided forest walks, scenic hikes, and countryside picnics
- Nature meditation and sensory walks
- Optional swims in the crystal-clear Laboreiro River (weather permitting)
- Visit to the national park center, castle hike & local museum
- Vegetarian cooking workshop experience
- Free time each afternoon to rest, explore, or simply unwind
- Daily lunches and dinners at Ecotura Nature Resort
- Special farewell dinner on Friday evening

- Immersion in the preserved nature of the Peneda Gerês National Park
