Kinesiology

Discover the fascinating connection between body, mind, and energy through a theory-and-practice approach to kinesiology. Learn how this powerful method can help relieve illness, pain, emotional tension, and stress — all of which can impact performance, physical health, and relationships.

Under the guidance of the Yoga Skyros IKE kinesiologist, you’ll receive a clear and simple explanation of how kinesiology works and how it can be applied in everyday life.

Kinesiology was developed by Dr. George Goodheart in 1963, who identified the link between specific behaviors, muscles, and organs. He demonstrated how blockages in the meridian system — the body’s energy channels described in Traditional Chinese Medicine — can be released through neurolymphatic and neurovascular acupressure techniques. These blockages are often the hidden causes of pain, illness, and emotional imbalance.

Activating neurovascular points increases micro-circulation and enhances oxygen flow to the cells and organs, while stimulating neurolymphatic points helps the body eliminate toxins and reduce stress in the nervous system.

Edward Bach Healing Methods

In the 1930s, English physician Dr. Edward Bach developed the Bach Flower Remedies — a system of 38 flower essences designed to balance moods and emotions. His method works on the principle that emotional disharmony can manifest as physical illness or prolonged stress.

During the workshop, you’ll explore how Bach’s remedies can transform negative emotional states into positive ones — replacing fear, insecurity, or despair with confidence, calm, and joy. Together with a certified Bach practitioner, you’ll create your own personalized flower essence combination, tailored to your emotional needs.

Hatha Yoga and Yoga as Therapy

Under the guidance of Yoga Master Radha Ji (800 RYT), trained in Asia and India, you’ll experience Hatha Yoga, the foundation of all yoga styles, as both a practice and a therapeutic tool. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you’ll learn how yoga can help you manage daily stress, restore balance, and cultivate vitality.

Yoga supports weight management, relieves insomnia, balances hormones, eases arthritis and back pain, supports menopause, and promotes overall well-being. Sessions are designed to be uplifting and enjoyable, helping you rediscover your body’s natural flexibility and inner peace.

Each participant receives a personalized home program to continue the journey after the retreat — a valuable gift of inspiration, fitness, and wellbeing.

Daily Schedule

Workshops take place daily from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., including two hours of yoga practice each day.
After the afternoon session, you’ll have free time to explore the seaside, visit ancient Greek sites, and immerse yourself in the myths and beauty of Greece.

A visit to the Acropolis is highly recommended, along with the nearby museums — perfect additions to a three-day journey of self-healing and discovery.
